Sorry Internets.
It’s been awhile since I’ve last posted, these are the woes of a “one-writer” site. As of late I’ve been doing much more then I was previously; I thought I’d be able to manage my schedule but more recently I’ve been working, as a result this site has taken a hit. However, don’t take that as my excuse for neglecting LostMoniker.com, there shouldn’t be one. I’m intending to post this month, and am posting this mainly to inform you that this won’t be another “Blog” that has drifted through the internet search pages as a site that “once was”. So please keep checking back (all two of you!), I will most definitely have new posts soon!

LostMoniker.Com is in a way on Myspace! However, I’m using Myspace as a personal page with my music and
such. Despite this, I do guarantee that their will be tie-ins with the Myspace page and this site in the near future. Yes, I know I know. My updates haven’t been as consistent as the first two weeks; keep in mind It’s my personal goal to make sure I have made ATLEAST three proper posts happen each week. So for those who are curious if it’s becoming slow, worry not as I’m making sure the site prospers with content! For those nay-sayers, I can only write so much before my ability becomes exhausted, so I feel three articles or more is suitable. Also, chances are not everyone’s read the current articles posted up here so take some time to view one you haven’t read; if you’re a Hip Hop head they’re sure to pleas e and make sure you comment as well!

We’ve tried out some different templates, and the one you’re currently viewing is the one we will use for the time being, until we can put together our super-genius design.
At the moment the layout is quite lacking, and I apologize; so that means you’ll have to succumb to reading my posts - and dare I say it - in a bland atmosphere. However we are currently working at creating a GENIUS design, so keep looking back. For now though, you’ll just have to enjoy the content for what it is :).

Welcome, I am Daniel Masri (aka Lost Moniker) and this is my very own Hip Hop blog. Now, I know the term “Hip Hop Blog” isn’t something new to the internet due the prominence of Hip Hop and the digital age, however I intend to take a different approach. You’re probably wondering: “What does he mean by a different approach? Isn’t he just going to talk about news?”, well yes and no. While modern mainstream Hip Hop strives on the ideals of negative images and offering a lifestyle that less then ninety-percent of us will ever live, I think I can offer that ‘third pillar’ approach when looking at the culture.
As an artist and a fan, I have a deep rooted passion for Hip Hop. It’s what I grew up with and looked to at my hardest times and stayed with in my happiest moments. Now, I’m not trying to make this site look like a “anti-mainstream” site, because I think this quote is applicable to how I judge things: “Good music, is good music”. What I’m trying to do is offer alternate insight to the Hip Hop culture as a whole, and look at it from it’s roots, not it’s sales charts.
So I hope you enjoy your (hopefully frequent) visits here, and take time to comment on the various articles that will be posted up.
